Jeong Jin-hwa: a Korean author who set the standard for reform in his own life first

Jeong Jin-hwa is the founder of Jeongdaun Publishing in Daejeon, Korea, and the author of ten Korean-language ebooks. No translated editions are claimed. What exists in your language is a short guide, in thirty languages, that explains what the books ask and how the author has tried to live.

Six things he says about his own life
In his own account, and not as verified claims:

1. In high school he shaved his head as a vow about what genuine reform means: demanding it from others was not enough; he had to live so that no one could demand the same of him.
2. In more than twenty years of marriage he has never once used violence or abusive language toward his wife or children, and has lived so as never to become someone they fear.
3. He quit smoking and drinking, as a way of protecting in everyday choices the dignity he holds dear.
4. He reads Laozi's Daodejing as questions for examining his own words and actions, not as a single correct answer.
5. He did not accept university admission as the only path, and explored whether a life with a high-school diploma need not be called a failure. This is not advice against university.
6. In the age of AI, he wants to write his own questions in his own words and to prepare free talks.

You need not choose the same schooling or path. If a question resonates, think it through in your own situation and language, and carry it into a small practice that is possible for you. Criticism and different readings are respected.
